Maine Lobsterbake set for this Saturday (18th)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Well friends, I am about to send a message to all previous respondees, so if you don't get it, please respond directly to this message. We've had several acceptances, and sadly, a couple of cancellations. If you are within striking distance (of Buxton, just west of Portland) and would like to join us, you are welcome. For 10 bucks or so per person, and certainly not exceeding $12.50, you'll get a genuine cooked in seaweed lobster bake with a 1 1/4 lb lobster, corn, clams, mussels, and a cup of Uncle Brad's Unchallenged World's Best Chowder. Also a lot of friends and conversation. I MUST have your "intentions" (ie, reservation) by Thursday. No money up front, but if you are a no-show, you still have to pay. Otherwise, I will hunt you down as if you were a mangy cur with the intelligence of a Palm Beach Democrat! Sorry, I didn't realize as I wrote that that was redundant! Anyway, please join us, and GL!
