QB Carbon rear hugger

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

has anyone purchased the QB carbon rear hugger for an MVF4S ? How does it fit ? What does it bolt to and do you have to tap any new holes in the swingarm to bolt it to ? How does it look ? Good ? Let me know,

I saw one on a bike at Laguna Seca, looked like a clean fit and sure is beautiful. I just set up an account with them and now I get a discount so I am looking forward to getting some parts pretty soon myself...

The QB hugger is excellent, it is rigid, central and has good clearance, the best aspect is the integral chain guard though. Fitting is by using the two threads that originally held the chain guard and a hexagonal plug that locates in the allen bolt recess which attaches the ride height strut ( I think). It is feasible to add extra tappings to the swing arm, but I would not risk it personally, anyway it holds position without any further fixings. Regards Juanos
