Hi:

Your Aro/Ava indicates it is Gowlai. But Bho shambo shiva shambo swayambho was composed in Revathi raaga which contains Kaisiki Nishadam in aro and ava.

Bye

Srivathsan

Hi Ur Aro/Avo indicates it is Gowlai... and Bho Shambo is Revathi.... One famous song in Gowlai is one among the Pancharathna Krithis by Thiagarajar - Dhudu koogala... Bye Balajee

I agree with Shrivatsan and Balajee. The Aro/Avaro points to Gowlai, but the song Bho Shambo itself, a bhajan by Swami Dayanada Saraswathi is set to Revathi. That is is we are referring to the same song - the lyrics start like this...

bho shambHo shiva shambHo swayambHo GangAdhara Shankara KaruNAkarA mAmava Bhava sAgara tAraka (bho)

Hope this helps,

Naren
