Will Trade Housing For Upkeep Of Property Near Ocean City, Maryland - I have a mobile home on three acres, 15 minutes outside Ocean City, Maryland, on a country road. It is very secluded with a chicken farm on one side, state forest on another, and a soon to be 14.2 acre pond on the third. I would like to find someone who is interested in trading cheap living for helping to keep the place up. I live on Long Island now due to family commitments. When I lived there I built a small chicken coop, small hog barn (could be used for goats) and had a nice 25x25 garden. The last two renters were allergic to lawnmowers and dump runs. It took me 4 days to get the yard mowed and cleaned up. I would like to find a single person (male or female) or a couple who would enjoy country living and appreciate cheap rent for helping get the place up and going again. They would have a one bedroom, with living room, kitchen , bath, and large deck. Propane heat. The place is 800 feet off the road in the woods with 2 wells and a septic. Very private. I will help as much as I can: I will rototill the garden and help haul in manure, supply paint and whatever other supplies are needed for the house. You can have a dozen or so chickens and a few hogs or goats. Above all, I am looking for the right "fit". Someone who WANTS to live in the country self-sufficiently (and neatly) , not someone looking for a free ride (like the last tenants, who actually STOLE the toilet bowl bowl when they left, which is why it's empty now). I'll be there all Labor Day week working on the place. If your interested email me at darkdakota@aol.com

Sounds like a great opportunity for the right people! Too bad freeloaders have taken advantage of you.

Hi, I publish THE CARETAKER GAZETTE and one of our subscribers just emailed me saying you can use a caretaker there. Some of our readers would be interested in contacting you. Can we help you by rerunning your ad, at no charge, in our next issue? Please let me know.

I look forward to hearing back from you. Take care, Gary C. Dunn, Publisher THE CARETAKER GAZETTE PO Box 540 River Falls, WI 54022-0540 USA (715) 426-5500 caretaker@caretaker.org www.caretaker.org

This would be so perfect if we didn't have two children that would need a bedroom each. All we want is a few chickens and a goat or two. We also have a horse and some dogs. We live in Caroline Co. MD (Denton, Greensboro, area) Gloria
