BCS Walk Behind Tractor

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I am about to buy a BCS walk behind tractor and thought I would ask what kind of experiences others have had with this type of tractor. I am looking at the 830, 9 hp tractor with a 26" tiller and the HD Bush mower. It will be used for market gardening.

luv em. I've owned two of them and they are one of the best investments I ever made. After owning the first BCS I had a troy bilt for a few days and it was a joke.Sold it the nexy day. The bcs is ballanced so much better, the tine speed is greater and more variable. I bought a small garden cart and hooked it up to the bcs and used it to haul out my firewood with it. Worked great, kinda like an articulated tractor. My market gardening days are over but I sure envy you Thomas. Good luck. jz
