How long does it take for apple seeds to dry? Has anyone saved apple seeds before? If so, how'd you do it?Thanks

I have not saved seeds any length of time, but I just got finished reading Johnny Appleseed to my daughter; he carried them around in a knapsack as he walked from state to state planting them. I myself have planted seeds fresh out of the apple without drying them.

Why are you bothering with apple seeds? They won't come true to your apple. What you will usually get is a wild apple thats is bitter. Apple trees are the result of grafting plant stock onto root stock unless its a wild tree and then you will generally find the apples unpalatable.

I'm not sure what you'll get, but I like the more bitter apples anyway for baking. My two cents.
