Army surplus store, look in the classified ads in newspapers(Sunday is the best day), garage or rummage sales, again, you can check the newspaper, or put an ad in the paper in ,the wanting to buy,or in the local sale paper like Big Nickle or Good News and have people call you. Another way to go would be to look up some buckskinners from your area, maybe go to a rendenevouz and talk to a few. Many of them start out with a nice cabin-style tent as their first tent and eventually work themselves up to a tipi. These older tents don't look like much, but are often made with very heavy duty cloth and are quite darkened from the smoke of countless cooking fires. They often don't look like much, but the smoke does a good job of waterproofing them. These guys, even the newbies, get a very good quality product. With the right care (and I've yet to see a buckskinner abuse his lodge) they can last forever. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
