Mac Classic with MIDI Files

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Mac Games : One Thread

Hi. What a cool Website. Ok, a friend of mine gave me a Mac Classic with a bunch of MIDI Music Files in it. I was going to run it thru my Roland sound module to spruce up the sounds, and mix to stereo and go onto CoolEditPro1.2 on my PC.

The problem(s): I plugged it in and turned it on and I got a checkerbooard screen. Mouse didn't seem to work. Keyboard doesn't do anything. And I can see there is a floppy disk in it. And I don't know how to get it out!. Macs are totally foreign to me. Any ideas from the above symptoms? Thanks so much!.........Bill
