Hi Little Bit

HI

Hope your new forum sees a lot of activity.

I thought my post at CS was about as non-denominational as they come. I guess I was wrong.

My mom was visited by a specialist out of Atlanta today. He prescribed her some really heavy drugs. All BJC Medical wants is to move her to the Big hospital in Atlanta.

I'll check back later.

It is good to see you Kenneth. I hope that we can have a forum here more like the Countryside of old. Keep me informed about your Mom. Just don't let those doctors have free reign. You need to stand for what you think is best. I realize just how hard that is because I cared for my motherinlaw for awhile. Doctors sometimes need to have a close eye kept on them. If there is a question in your mind, ask for a consult with another physician. I am praying for you.

9:10 p.m. Talked to Mom on the phone. She is feeling a little better. Still weak but able to tell whats going on around her. She sends her heartfelt thanks and asks that you keep remembering her. If she is stable enough they plan to transport her to Atlanta first of the week by special ambulance. (One of the big rig types).

I'm hanging in there. Kinda wore down but trying to remain sane.

We'll keep praying for you and your mom, Ken. Thank you for the update.

Hi folks, I've deleted my countryside bookmark and added this site. I didn't post much on the countryside site, but have been there for a couple years and tried to help out when the topic landed in an area where I had some experience. I have live "the life" since I was a child growing up on a small family dairy farm and continued through my "hippie years" until now. I hope I can learn and be of help here. But most importantly, I hope I can offer and request prayer when the need arises...we all need prayer every day in this world...I can't see how one survives without it.

It is interesting how we begin to feel we know each other only through these forums. It helps going through a rough time knowing that others are praying for you and your family, even if you have never met in person. I pray that all goes well with your Mother. Don't forget to take a few minutes for yourself! Joanie
