I thought I'd give you all a run down on the state of our homestead. We are temporarily without a homestead. We are currently waiting for loan approval and then we will be seeking a homestead avidly. We have found a little place that we like. It is a cute house on 20 acres. The place is currently called Shady Acres. It is a lovely place with a fine older frame home. it has a nice barn and both rural water and well water. it has an absolutely beautiful view of the Arbuckle "mountains" here in Oklahoma. I am going to try and past a picture here, but that may fail. I have seen them do it on other forums. If anyone here knows how to do that I would really appreciate it. I'm sorry. I tried to post this picture, but I just don't know what I'm doing.

Aahhh...Oklahoma, my birthplace and home for 34 years. We lived at the beginning of Cherokee county off Hwy 62. Do you know where that is? Between Fort Gibson and Tahlequah. We haven't lived there for almost twelve years now. I hope all works out well for you to get your new homestead.

While I'm far from expert on computers, I do have a suggestion for your picture. If you put it on a personal web page with your ISP, you could post a link to that page here. It's not exactly what you wanted (a picture right here) but would at least accomplish your goal of making the picture available from here. I hope this helps.
