A good thing for the people who are found in time. But I originally had a feeling of relief that at least noone would have survived the collapse of those buildings so noone would be slowly suffering and suffocating under the debris. Then the stories about the cell phones started to come out. For those who are never recovered (or identified), surely their families would rather believe it was over quickly for them.

hards to believe it was over quickly for family members when they are getting those calls.

I would think the pain of knowing the were buried alive for a time first must be more intense, compared with the alternate of thinking they died swiftly.

Just heard five more have been extracted from the wreckage, apparently in a car. [I presume they were in the parking garage underneath?]

Yes, theyw ere in SUV. Those two are part of that five. Two of them were able to walk out. But now they think the American Express Building has collapsed--don't know if anyone was caught underneath.

Saying the AmEx building has not collapsed but one of the buildings has been declared unsafe and everyone has had to leave the area.
