FOUND AFER FILLING IN CONSUMER SHOPPING SURVEY

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

Recently filled in Consumer Sjopping Survey and have now been found by National Home Loans. Apparrentley shopping surveys are sent out by either Experian or Equifax and then used to trace people.

Can anyone expain why Interest is added to the mortgage balance after repossession and after the property has been sold. National Home Loans have done this leaving me with a shortfall of 32500.00. If the interest has not been added they would owe me 10000.00!!!

Can you remember who published the consumer shopping survey you filled in?

We have highlighted the issues relating to similar surveys at: http://www.home-repo.org/debt/bad_surv.htm

It would be useful to know if yours was sent out by Experian.

Deb,

I'd have to see the financial statements first. If you feel like emailing them to me, you're welcome, but otherwise we need more detail before can attempt to answer your question.

Re customer surveys, this is becoming quite common. If you look at the small print before you send it off, you'll see that 'we may take this opportunity to pass on your details etc etc'.

See other pages on the site for more details

By the by, how long ago was the sale of your repossessed home? More than six years?
