Foliage Warning

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Large format photography : One Thread

Foliage season, in Vermont in the Central area Rt. 302, and Rt 25, looks to be early this year, probably due to the lack of rain. Yesterday's all day rain storm didn't help much.

I would have to say that the Mid-Atlantic is ahead of schedule as well...a good ten days to two weeks, and the recent cold snap is accelerating things. I live in central/western Maryland and the ridges are already changing. If I had to prognosticate, I'd say it's going to be a good year...albeit early.
