On the side of the six-20 there is a lever above the exposure lever that moves in and out, what is it for?

Matthew, that is for the "bulb" feature on your shutter. If you pull it out and actuate the shutter lever, the shutter will stay open as long as it is down. This way you can make time exposures, as long as your camera is on a firm surface. If you hold it in your hands you will make nothing but blurry pictures, which every "Kodaker" knows is wrong, wrong, wrong. ;) Hope this helps. If you want a copy of the Brownie Target Six-20 manual please contact me via return email.
