I work for a manufacture that uses teams in several of their plants throughout the world. In our facility we have been doing various team building activities and development. One of the manufacturing lines was started as a SDWT in 1989 and has gone through various growing pains. One thing that we have never really done is to benchmark anyone outside our organization to understand and really "SEE" someone else who is a SDWT. If you know of a good candidate or a manufacturing facility that often gives tours and allows others to benchmark them please contact me. I would prefer to benchmark a manufacturing facility and not a service industry.
