Do you want Ray Leonard to give you 10 pounds at the next meeting?

Hi, I was going to write something cruder but I thought the carrot of money would do the job. Now that you are here let me formally welcome you and ask you, apart from some fictional offer of money which I completely deny all knowledge of, do you have any real suggestions for our next meeting? Ray.

I think we can incorporate food into our meetings somewhere. And if Paula goes and celebrates her birthday all over again we can party into the small hours. The ice-cream suggestion might just run here. I didn't mean that pun by the way. Creativity is the name of the game and anything we do, I suspect, (God I just can't stop preaching sometimes) need to keep it flowing through our sense of whatever message we have to bring, or whatever thing we intend to do. I think time for a discussion on what is going on for us in this life would be very helpful for the gelling of the group. I also think coconut ice-cream would be quite suitable. Speaking of which... do you know that Tony Quinn charges twenty-five thousand dollars per person for a fortnight's workshop on some exotic island. The people flock to him and they have to queue for places. What are they looking for?

Strawberry ripple icecream?: I know not a helpful answer, but some compensation for that £10 I'm not going to get!.. ;-)

By the way I've said this to Ray already, I'd prefer if people can use this address, not my office e-mail address, for correspondance/ chat etc.

Having really enjoyed the last meeting and the getting to know you experience, I would like to continue in the same vein. How about a meal of sorts, where everyone brings along some nosh so that after a briefer than last time active session we gather round like true pilgrims sharing food and debate!! I could of course be making this suggestion cos my weight watchers diet is on my mind!!! However...........

I think we should start a hippy commune and live in the ways of Peace, Love and Flower Power!!!

Either that or we go with the Food thing that Aisling suggested !!!

I do think that getting in touch with our creativity is a great thing. I also think that maybe some sort of day out together might be nice - to do something different as a group. Not just a session at the pub (although Im up for that too) !!!

:o)

Well - I'm always on for anything involving food!! And I can't think of a nicer more relaxed way of getting to know you all better. The only disadvantage is that it can be difficult to get to tlak to everyone at a meal. How about Paula's idea of a day out (a walk in the hills, kite flying, a picnic...other ideas?) followed by food/drink in some shape or form?

Regarding our meeting last night ... I notice there was a serious lack of money (as promised by Our Ray) !!!

However I did enjoy last night very much and would like to give a big thank you to Aisling for her Murder Mystery!!! And to Colette for a wonderful moment to sit and stop and rest for a while in the company of God... When we started prayer I thought to myself 'thank goodness Im here'

I am enjoying hte development of the group, it seems that it comes together so well and naturally (do you think so???) There is a lovely dynamic ... Enough of these nice wordy words .. I am really liking this !!! :o)

See you guys at the Christmas gathering .. can I suggest we all wear something of the Christmas season ??? Any other idea's for the craic???

Paula, I recall the term "treasure in heaven" and the command "Sell all your possessions, give the money to the poor, and come follow me." Although, considering the comforts I live with I had better not push that second one. Wasn't our last meeting only brilliant? Talking to some of the group I am aware that it was certainly a trying session. I was left thinking to myself that a situation could well crop up in working with a group whereby we, as a team, find ourselves faced with an issue within some group and having to decide quickly how to deal with the issue. All of the dynamics of Friday evening could possibly play themselves out again. Thanks again to all who helped out. For our next meeting I am going to order a selection of pizzas from the local takeaway, some garlic bread and someone else can look after the choice of beverages, and someone else can look after the choice of sweet. I will pounce on bodies for these. I think it would be good to have a little prayer at the beginning too. If you have any preference for food or drink please email me. If you have any suggestions for our next meeting please email me.
