Much too simplistic. If this were truely an eye-for-an-eye, we would have made a massive carpet bombing strike against Kabul, leaving thousands dead in one night and then gone away.

What is implied in this war on terrorism is that not only will we fight above ground with vigorous prosecution, and all other legal methods. We will also fight underground with bribery, extortion, murder and assasination. If there is a "place of rest" for the terrorists, they will be gathering in ever increasing groups to swap stories about how they met their end.

A new generation of Americans is learning the hard lesson that there are people who absolutely, positively want to see you dead. Since this is a religious board, then pray for the souls of those who choose to do harm to the United States. May God show his mercy, because the U.S. will show none. We have turned the other cheek for the last time.

Yes, Craig--
The voice of David the king: ''In the Lord I take refuge; how can you say to me, 'Flee to the mountain like a bird!' For see, the wicked bend the bow; they place the arrow on the string to shoot in the dark at the upright of heart. When the pillars are overthrown, what can the just man do? ----The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord's throne is in heaven. His eyes behold, His searching glance is on mankind. The Lord searches the just and the wicked; the lover of violence He hates. He rains upon the wicked fiery coals and brimstone; a burning blast is their alloted cup. For the Lord is just; He loves just deeds; the upright shall see His face.'' (Psalm 10)
