The Western North Carolina Alliance and BackHome Magazine are co-sponsoring the Southern Energy and Environment Expo, to be held Octoeber 19-21 at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, North Carolina (a few miles south of Asheville). The SEE Expo will feature exhibits, workshops, discussions, and demonstrations on small-scale solar, wind, and hydro engergy, sustainable building techiniques, organice agriculture, low-impact forestry, environmental stewardship, and youth education. Regional business will feature energy-efficient technologies and grassroots groups will be supporting conservation and sustainable lifestyle practices. I'm sorry, Soni, I don't know. I just copied the thing verbatim from the magazine. I poked around the site too and couldn't find the admission cost either. Their contact is asheville@wnca.org

Soni; Look at it this way; The HUGE amount of information you can get from one of these events is worth an admission ticket! ...They do have lots of costs, to put on the show.....Hopefully the fair will get you & a whole lot of folks into thinking / doing........as I type this I can hear the wind outside really crankin'.......meaning that my wind genny is making lots of power......Hope you & many many more attend!!!

Called them - it's 5.00 per adult per day, no all-weekend discounts. I think kids are less, buy I don't remember.
