It's a dark and stormy night here, with scattered power outages. That's why I did a ton of cooking and laundry today . . . I can go more easily without power for awhile with cleaned clothes and cooked food.

The last full moon also featured either Mars or Venus with the finger moon. Guessing that won't be happening again this time, and there was a theory that the moon/planet alignment may have been significant on 9/11 as a symbol of the Muslim world. I would have thought that 10/11 was a better date.

Sorry, Rollcall, just saw your question....Echenea (sp) yes, the purple coneflower, it is an herbal tincture for immune system.....I dug up some the other day, washed the roots, and cut in about 1 inch peices, and cover them in a dark jar with (one batch ---vodka) and one batch--apple cider vinegar.. but some people do all this herbal stuff but the moon phases..I am just learning, so do it when ever I have time.

I made a tincture last year for anykind of creepy crawlies that may decide to "live off me...went out in the woods, for green hull walnuts, , some wormwood artemis, cloves, and something else, only I just forgot!!! anyway, gave it to kitties, and us.. and we are still here!!!
