HUMOR? I think I know why Prince Andrew came to NYC

Just heard on CBS news. Apparently the honorary knighthood will not include the title "Sir". Perhaps the Queen thought that should be corrected in person?? Giuliani said, shucks, that's ok, just call me "Rudy".

Nah! Just so happens Andrew was on some sort of PR mission! Non-Brits are given honorary knighthoods, not real ones. I don't know if it's because American mores don't allow him to be called Sir or if it's British policy. He would have known that because of others the Queen has knighted, like Reagan.

Well, sure RUDY may have known that but I think the rest of us were confused. I'm just picturing the Queen, who is so concerned about decorum, thinking "oh sh!t", better send the kid overseas to make sure there isn't any misunderstanding in the making.

The funniest thing about it all is Clinton never got an honorary knighthood. He sure did try for it, though! Poor Clinton, cain't get no legacy, cain't get no honorary knighthood. And here's Giuliani, nuthin' but a mayor, gets one in about a month! ROTFLMAO! The Queen never knew who Giuliani was before September 11. That has GOT to have both Clintons PO'd!

See, there IS humor in this somewhere. And didn't Billy consider running for mayor at one point?
