I posted last week that my hubby's car had been totalled, someone ran into him. Well we finally bought a 1987 Ford Ranger Extended Cab Pick-up with a shell on the back. This should be great for taking the dogs or goats to the vets and for hauling a few bales of hay or straw or getting food for the animals.

We also bought a newer vehicle for my hubby to do the hour commute each way to work - a 1993 Saturn. So we should be all set for a while.

It's kind of funny that before I had kids I actually had a Ford Ranger pick-up truck but had to sell it in order to get a mini-van. They are great. Well now I'm lucky enough that we have a mini-van, a pick-up truck and a car (even if some of them are really old).

No more straw and doo doo in the mini van! :o) I need a truck~! I have tarps for the van, but I'm sloppy and my hubby always brushes off the hay from the seats/back. Congrats on the truck, hope your hubby is fine from the accident.
