Melinda, Randal and Brenda went on that this year, separaately, of course,. They said it was wonderful, he went on and on about it, without giving it away. Theirs was inside, I understand some go to the woods. Doesn't sound like my kind of thing. I think you should go. I'll watch the kids if we're settled by then.

Walk to Emmaus is a weekend retreat. It is geared toward growing a deeper relationship with God. The title refers to the two disciples meeting Jesus on the way to Emmaus(Luke 24:13-35). I can't really describe the retreat without giving away alot of the blessings you will receive. The movement began in the Catholic church, but has spread throughout the whole Christian movement. I went to one at a large Baptist church in San Jose, California, put on by mostly Methodists. A wonderful experience of music, the Word, being ministered to, etc. If you can ever go, do so.

That is an understatement and she's welcome to give me a break anytime. If you are interested on going on a walk to Emaus I know the central Indiana registrar that can help.

I went about 3 1/2 years ago. It was just wonderful. Everyone should experience that spiritual journey.

DE COLORES! Hello friends in Christ.

I went on my Walk to Emmaus April of this year. It is the greatest think that has happened to me in 20 years. For those who have not been and don't know what it's about I can tell you that if you are close to the Lord you will be amazed how much closer and deeper your walk with Christ is. For those who have "Back Slidden", as us Baptist say, or have any doubt of your salvation, the weekend will bring you to Christ in an amazing way. Anyone that has an opportunity to go, it is a MUST! This is a place the devil just can't be. God won't let him. The time after the "walk" is great also. ******Faye

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual experience in which everyone should embark. It has been spread throughout the world so you dont't have an excuse. Possibly the retreat is being held near you. Also there's a retreat that offers the same experience to the young ones called Chrysallis. Your kids or sibblings should enjoy it too!
