Just wanted to post a big thank you to Aunty Em and her website WiseSpirit. I placed a book order on 10/18 and received it today (10/22). I've been involved with several book clubs over the years and have NEVER had such great service!! AND I also got a free pen!!! The book, "Nourishing Traditions", is excellent and, thanks to what I've read so far...I totally enjoyed my medium rare steak tonight without guilt!!!

Well, Anne, don't know what you were smelling :-), but we didn't barbecue. According to the book it's not recommended! :-( I followed one of the recipes and pan-fried it. Delicious! Also made some broccoli Alfredo...lots of fresh goat's cream and Parmesan cheese!

I don't usually do fat-free, Kirk, but I bet those meat chunks would be great stir-fried in olive oil and garlic!

Yarrow...yes, Sally Fallon is the author. Lots of interesting comments and writings in this book along with the great recipes!!

Glad you like the book, Marcia! It's one of my favorites too....It actually should have gotten there faster than that; course there was a Sunday in there, and methinks things have been taking longer the last few weeks; maybe something to do with the troubles at the post offices? Anyway, I sure appreciate the testimonial!! :)

You're very welcome, EM. Actually it's the type of book that I'm not sure if I should keep it in the kitchen with my cookbooks...OR on the coffee table as great reading material!!!
