Does the M305 use a 12volt lamp? if so then read on, I had the same problem with an M605, I seem to recal Durst wanting about £90+ for a replacement, a friend advised me to try a local lighting firm (Ring Lighting) where I bought a 12volt 100watt lighting transformer for about £11, OK, so its not stabilised, but I only use my enlarger for b&w so whats the need. Hope this helps (and saves you cash)

I converted my little Durst C35 enlarger from the Durst lamp (called a MELAMP if I recall correctly) which I couldn't get any longer to a 12V dichloric 'down' light. Cost me about $10 AUD and was much better than the original setup!
