Does anybody know of a Canadian source for sythes? Preferably in southern Ontario.

Have you tried Lee Valley in Toronto? They have catalogues for mail order.

I did check the online catalogue on the Lee Valley web site. They had only one model of sythe. It was a strange looking aluminum thing with no apparent choice in blades. I was hoping for something more along the lines of the traditional Austrian models.

I did some investigation on this a couple of months ago, and this was pretty much all I could find.
