As many as 8 million people live in the U.S. illegally, including 250,000 under deportation orders who can't be found. Should the Immigration and Naturalization Service be expanded to track them down?

46.3% - Yes. Lax immigration policies make it easier for terrorists to operate against the U.S. (275responses)

6.1% - No. Most of the people are law-abiding and doing jobs Americans won't take. (36 responses)

45.1% - Yes. We need to control our borders and have an orderly immigration procedure. (268 responses)

2.5% - No. Our immigration laws are unrealistic, and enforcing them strictly would be a costly nightmare. (15 responses)

594 total responses

[How say you?]

I'm with the 46.3 percent. A shame that government let it get so bad, but we get what we vote for, don't we?

Unfortunately we get MORE that we vote for.
