prayer request

One of my friends has just left to go to Paupe New Guinea to help in the mission works there. She had planned to go in August, but by Gods grace, she was able to sustain the big waiting period. There was also lots of problems that arose and more change of plans, but she learned to be more prayerful. Thank you Lord for perfect timing. Yesterday , she finally was able to meet the Fed ex truck that had her ticket, and she was off around 1:30, and will be in the air flying until wednesday. OUCH! I believe she intends to stay at the mission work for possibly two or more years. SO please pray for her safety in the air, and safety as she gets accustomed to a new culture. Her name is Sarah Hartwig. thanks

I will remember Sarah in my prayers today. My sister spent two years in the Dominican Republic with Peace Corps, listening to her stories, I'd say Sarah is in for quite an adventure. I'm glad things worked out so she could go.

Jillibean, I'm glad she finally got off, after months of waiting! When my brother and family go back to PNG next summer, I'll tell them to watch for her; maybe the boys will be able to teach her the joys of eating fried grubs!
