Prayer Request

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

My grandmother is in a local nursing home. She is just great mentally, but physically she suffers from arthritis and breaks bones easily. She recently got up to use the rest-room in the night and bumped her bed table and broke the bone across the top of her foot. Now she has to have a cast and surgery next Monday.

I know she just hates being so weak physically. She always enjoyed living in the country, gardening, fishing, hunting, and everything about country life. When she was younger she would swim across the OHIO river, and I have talked to people who saw her do it so I know it is true!!!!

I ask you to keep her in your thoughts, that she comes through the operation OK, and can keep her spirits high even thouugh her body is weak. Thank you all!

Certainly, Melissa, I will pray for her. Just last week-that dreadful Wendsday, My Grandmother, in a nursing home, fell and broke her hip. (Getting up in the night to go to the Bath room!) She had a hip replacment surgury done on Thurs, and came through it just fine.
