When I think of the Holocaust, the first thing that pops into my mind is, the senseless killing of millions of Jews. During the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler tried to destroy all the Jews that occupied Germany. He did this by taking them from their homes, separating them from their family, and killing them in various ways. This turned into a war and Hitler eventually killed himself. The Nazi's were defeated by the allies but this victory over the Nazi's could not erase the memories of all the deaths caused by the Nazi's.
