Windy where you are?

Was it windy, yesterday, where you are? It was so windy that when I got home from town and checked the mailbox, the car door was "torn" out of my hand and bent out of alignment. I told my husband when he got home and he went out to check it out. He came back inside and said he'd fixed it and I asked "What with? A crowbar?" He said no, with a two by four. He is a professional mechanic, too. Did you get any wind damage?

We had a windy day(in Colorado), but the damaging winds here were west of us..Once when I was living in the Texas Panhandle(notorious for wind), I got out of the car at the Walmart to have my glasses blown off of my face. haha

Its often windy here in Eastern Washington. Last week we had a new new version of scrambled eggs.....the chicken house was blown over!! Poor chickens all survived but no eggs for two days! Same time had 1/2 of the plum tree blown down and tore up some fence. Well now the chicken house is reinforced and short of a tornado should not blow over now!! Fence is back up. Waiting for the next windstorm to finish the other half of the plum tree! Denise

Yesterday my mother 6 foot windmill was blown about 20 feet into the side of my car. I have a huge dent and scratch. Also a limb came down on the outside part of the chicken coop. It tore a huge hole in the door that I had to fix last night by the light of my car! It does seem to be a little better today , but I still see stuff fly by the big picture window!
