$2 pint night

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Identity Theft : One Thread

Alcohol is for bores. I like to stay alert. Janus has a t-shirt with representations of the different periods of painting as smily faces, like monet is a dotted smily face. If that wasn't trivialising enough, the expressionist face is a 'Van Gogh' wearing a beret with his ear removed. All the other faces are representations of the style, rather than the painter. How stupid; they could have just done a 'Scream' face, everyone would have recognised that.

But as everybody on this forum knows, publishers are clamouring for my work.

$2 pints, well now, I guess I should never have left. Thanks for the e-mail anyway Maryann, I am about to start the long trek home up the hill. I shall probably go online there and frolic some more on this new and exciting forum I have just found.

Were you at $2 pints? How did I miss you?

but the scream isnt by van gogh...

yeah Scream is by Munch but it's EXPRESSIONIST re-read the T-shirt premise, it's not about individual artists but about movements.

i went to $2 pint night last night. i had 2 pina coladas and then i left at 10pm.

there should be a $2 pina colada night.

arc sux though. they make pina coladas with dairy cream instead of cocnut cream. they should have a vegan option.
