Last year I found the weirdest place on the net, well ok, not possible. The site is called Hell.com. I thought I was referencing art about Hell-an interest of mine due to an antique book I own of the 1800's. Dante's inferno. Great Art btw. However I ended up on this odd site. They informed me through e-mail I was on their list, and wouldn't hear from them for 6 months. Not to contact them as it was only a robot and there would be no return email. I was promised on their site I could have anything I wanted, riches, power, sex, anything. I got a little nervous about ever having been there. Six months later they began sending me cryptic messages. I followed one once and it took me into some kind of artistic references to seemingly inside advertising and film businesses. I'm imagining they are a professional inside site for the guys in the business. So, anyhow the most recent thing they sent me is definitely fascinating. David Lynch would probably find it so. Peter, if you read as far as this I would be interested to know what you think, and if you know what in the world this is. I am going to try and do a link on here, but if it doesn't come out just go there.

What is interesting is it seems to have a scene that is reminiscent of Aeon floating in the paralytic fluid, waiting for the mechanism to connect and free her.

I warn you this is a very strange little film.

The better one is Future Installment one, called Maguette. It is about the future where human and machine are integrated into one. It is done with Macromedia Flash, (flash animation). On the right side of this one is an area that has headings, you go into 'lost' and it directs you to it. it is a better 'flash' movie. I guess it's done by a girl, and a group named Crankbunny. It is thoroughly depressing, which I mistakenly thought to be deep. Now I think its gimmicky, but I'm still amazed at the technology to make a 'minimovie' and their aim for something with a little reflection. I have the impression Flash will probably be used more often to advertise cars or something. The more interesting part of it all is it took me to a great little magazine on the net called "Shift e- zine" Imagine! A email 'zine'! It is from Japan and you can get it in English and it is informative about all sorts of new media productions. http://www.shift.jp.org/

I think you should probably get all your facts straight beforehand. "Naissance" is beautiful, and "Maquette" is very intriguing, but the story you first provided about Hell.com doesn't seem to have anything to do with Crankbunny.

i find this all very interesting. both naissance (http://www.crankbunny.org) and maquette(http://www.crankbunny.net) are crankbunny.com movies. there is now a third installment, called infrasound... http://www.crankbunny.co.uk ... naissance means birth by the way, and maquette means something similiar to 'smaller mirror representation'.
