Still going on. Fox is saying it started with some kind of armed robbery and the robber jumped into the 18-wheeler and took off. Most of back half of load is gone and there is still some fire. Is now in a residential area; has narrowly missed school buses on at least two occasions.

Police have ordered schools to keep children there until further notice. The Dallas police are doing a magnificent job of blocking intersections so far but since nobody knows where he's going, it's very difficult. The driver has switched lanes, going against traffic, has taken cuts through parking lots, gone cross country, and so on. Traffic is starting to build up, apparently, starting to look busy. Not known how much gas on baord but if takns are full, could be 20 gallons in each of two tanks, they said.

Actually, the police weren't so much chasing the guy as following him--he was setting the pace.
