Extraordinary Grace

"Ordinary people are doing ordinary things with extraordinary grace"

People all around us are doing there best to make the world a better place. Maybe it is a teacher who stays after school to help a student, or a nurse who gives a little extra care to a dying patient, or the mail carrier, who takes the mail to the door of an elderly person.

Sometimes in the stress, and hustle and bustle of everyday life, we see the BAD, without really noticing the GOOD. The good is out there for those who take the time to look for it. So look around and tell us what you see!!!

I think you want us to cry, Melissa, by making us think about this and the previous thread! I have a really hard time answering these! I start typing and then start crying and can't finish what I'm saying.

One of the instructors at the massage therapy school I attend donates his time giving massages to the dying at a local hospice. Many of the people there have been abandoned by their families and the hour Mike spends with them may be the only comforting touch they receive all week. I don't have sufficient trainging to work with ill clients just yet, but as soon as I do I intend to volunteer too.

I am blessed to live in a community that takes the time to care for one another! I know, day or night, I can phone most any neighbor if I need help.

I have noticed all the kind deeds being done around here and around the world, but what I notice the most is how nice and polite everyone is being. Evening smiling at someone can change their day!!So here's a big smile from SE Kansas going out to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!God Bless
