I've been reading this site since it started and I just wanted to know how Jim is? Does anyone ever hear from him. I always wonder when I sign on. If you're reading this Jim, I hope everything with you is fine and dandy.

Yeah, me too, I sure miss him, he was very interesting, smart, and cool. Where did he go? Why has he been gone so long? He created us, then left us, sorta like God?????? Have we been so bad that he decided that he doesn't like us?

Sad to say, I haven't heard from Jim since early in September. I emailed him about 2 weeks ago, but no reply so far. At least the email didn't come back as undeliverable!

His computer died and he wasn't planning on replacing it right away. He was going to make do with using the library computer. I think the only time he was going to have to get there was weekends. He took a job that was going to be very demanding of his time, and I know his mom was having health problems, as well as some of his own. So amongst all those things, I guess it's not surprising we haven't heard from him. His 'spare' time may be all used up getting things ready for winter, raking leaves, stuff like that.

Maybe when winter sets in, we'll see him come back. We can hope anyway! I miss him a lot, too. [sniffle]

Yep, I'm back. Things have slowed down at work so I'm having more time to check out the forums. Yahoo!

I still don't have a replacement computer but Ruth is loaning me her work laptop PC in the evenings. I'm hoping to buy a brand new computer sometime around Christmas - can't wait! :-)

It's been hard getting in to BTS these last couple of days - I was sure that Greenspun had finally expired. I'm really glad Joy took the initiative in creating her new forum so we'd all have a place to go if/when this forum does finally expire for good.

Thanks again to all of you for thinking of me. And I especially want to thank you, Joy, - my *extremely* capable co-moderator - for taking care of this forum while I was gone. You've done a great job!
