For any of you who live near the Charlotte, NC area, there is a workshop on basic vermicomposting being offered on several different Saturdays between now and the end of January. The workshop is apparently going to focus on ways to convert kitchen waste into humus for the garden. Cost is $25.00 and the workshop lasts about 4-hours. Here is a link to the site:
