I enjoy doing couplets, two-lined verses. Here's a recent one I sent to my Cloud Couplets e-mail poetry list.

Spirituality

Never did a man in spirit soar,
As playing with his children on the floor.

Hmm, Melissa, I classified this as "Family Life," since I didn't see a poetry slot.

P.S. On the spelling thread, I mentioned that spellcheckers bleep out hyphens. Case in point: mine (Netscape) didn't like "two-lined" in the first paragraph.
