FRIDAY NIGHT COOKERY...or lack thereof

After hauling the old 30-10 to the local John Deere witchdoctor, we didn't feel much like cooking so I whipped up something I haven't eaten since forestry camp...chilli cheeseburgers.

That's a greasy cheeseburger on a slice of toast, smothered with Hormel chilli and Lousiana Red. Mmmmmmmm, yummy.

There's an old Eagles concert on VH1 right now...I think I've just discovered the perfect signature:

"Always whinin, cryin and pitchin a bitch GET OVER IT! GET OVER IT!"

But that Mercedes commercial with Wayne Newton singing "Danke Schoen" is killing me, lol.

BTW, I will gladly accept donations for the tractor repairs...oh damn, I forgot, we put money aside for those things :P

Hope you're sleeping with the windows open...

I went to a forestry conference once that was held on the Eleven Point River in the Ozarks. After spending the day in canoes, the Missouri Conservation Dept. had one of their infamous "all the beer you can drink and all the beans you can eat" barbeques...

We had driven down in two vans, but one of them broke down on the way home. We spent the next two hours with 21 people in one van and ALL the windows open (the guys in the back were having a contest) and it was like 40 degrees outside.

We got pulled over for being overloaded, but the cop took one whiff and sent us on our way.

ROTFLMAO

My eyes are watering thinking about it sam...

I grew up in a family where everyone was very large, and to me, obese; they figured I must have a worm....

Anyway, when it came to farting contests, I didn't stand a chance...

Let me know if it's time for a "Beans and Air Quality" reprise.

ROFL!!! Big Kumara, your story reminds me of a family trip we took once. 9 people in a van for 2100 miles. I 'brilliantly' made a mountain of egg salad sandwiches for the trip..... 20 years later, the family is STILL talking about it.... :)
