i think the first step should be to write them a letter or approach the management explaining our situation and offering the possibility of alternatives, perhaps some other campus situations

I contacted the President at the Environmental Club on the University of Minnesota, according to her there is an Aramark at Minnesota and they use reuseable mugs and paper cups similiar to what movie theatre uses. Perhaps, if we convince someone on campus to sell reusable mugs on campus- U of M sells them for $2-5 with a cool little logo and save the commons $$ , meaning $ made and saved for Lakota.
