Right, it's about time to get this sorted. It's quite early, but if there are a few of us, we may have to book up. The last home game before Christmas is Blackburn on 15 Decemember so how about the Friday before? Any thoughts? Who would be interested?

Lynda I also did wonder, memory serves me correct , Cake has tenous links with the "Navy", old saying I cannot remember , but it ends with "Navy Cake" , when LR comes off patrol he may be able to unravel. Blame me Lynda. I have a mate who's ex merchant navy and even more cynical than I am. He has very little time for communal socialising and refers to social gatherings as 'cake and ar5e' parties.

I used it as the thread heading when we organised the first BBS night out last year, and again for the last one a few weeks ago. Looks like it's stuck.

Nothing to do with cakes and ale, but saw Val corresponding. Saw Bud recently and he said to the best of his knowledge you were still in Lockhart/Hennessy Road Wanchai with Fifties??
