Lost my PS/2 keyboard port - can't boot

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A One Forum : One Thread

While installing a USB keyboard, I lost both the USB and PS/2 keyboards. I lost my PS/2 port, not sure how, (I might have removed it to get the IRQ back), and in the process of trying to get it back, I reset by BIOS to fail-safe settings. Now I can;t boot with the USB keyboard, or the PS/2 keyboard. I get a "Missing keyboard" boot message, and can't get into the BIOS setup program. Mobo is an ECS K7SEM, proc is Duron 850. Can I get my PS/2 keyboard port back? Thanks
