The National Association of Chiefs of Police issued their 14th annual survey on Monday. Over 93 percent said yes to "Should any law abiding citizen be able to purchase a firearm for sport or self-defense?" Over 62 percent said concealed handgun permits would help reduce crime. I guess this tells us what the media position is on this matter. Good thing we still have some clandestine media outlets to get real news from.

I can't believe that no one has posted a reply to this statement.

I remember during the last administration seeing the president with a bunch of police chiefs, numerous times, saying that they were as a group in favor of gun control. I cannot believe that things have changed that fast. Someone has pulled a fast one on John Q. Public AGAIN.

Talk to you later.

I had not seen this one anywhere. Thanks for posting it. It is interesting what gets put on the regular media and how much we don't hear. I am thankful for the internet so I can get some real news!

Thanks, Bob. Police know they can't be everywhere at all times to protect people, and they were never supposed to be expected to fill that position. If we all carried, there would be very little crime and probably no repeat offenders.

I work for a tv station...not all of us are anti-gun.My suggestion is to use one media against another.Write letters to the newspaper complaining that (your local tv station) doesn't report news fairly and unbiased. This get the tv stations attention,at least it does ours.
