I've made several requests for the MIG T&C but having no joy. In my ex-lender's solicitor's recent letter, they advise that the MIG documents will not be made available under standard disclosure and refer me to other peoples cases where the MIG policy was only disclosed to the Judge and then in brackets it says 'and the judge only'.

how should I respond to this?

They also state that they are not basing their claim on the MIG but they have said previously that they are not basing their claim on the mortgage contract either.

Re the MIG IMHO you are entitled to see it if they are the insurer chasing, i.e. to prove they they have a connection to you. If it is the lender then I am not so sure.
