Hi,

Anyone know where I can find a shade for my 28mm Elmarit M? Its the 2nd version, and if I'm not wrong, two shades can fit. The 12501 and 12007. Please let me know if you have one to sell or if you know where I can get one.

The 12007 is the auxilary viewfinder. The 12501 is the right hood number. It also fit the 21/3.4 SA lens and shows up frequently on eBay. A quick look about turned up the following:

I have a spare hood for a third version 28 Elmarit but I don't think it is what you are looking for. The recommended hood appears to be #12007. Take a look at this link if you haven't already. Good Luck.

Thanks John, I've checked the wesites, but the hood seems horribly expensive. One of them were asking something like US$375! Thanks anyway, I'll be on the lookout for one in user condition.

Don, thanks for the offer, but that's not the hood I'm looking for. Also, I've been to that site before, which was why I thought the 12007 was the appropriate hood, but seems like John is right, its a finder. A mistake?
