It is possible to taste things in a dream - like for example a hot pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut and Dijon mustard? A friend of mine reports that he once ate such a delicious sandwich in a dream and when he awoke, he was drooling and chewing on his pillow and it didn't taste the same anymore.
