Today at a local gas station , I spied in the back of a pick-up truck a camouflaged chainsaw!

A camo chainsaw?!?!

Why you'd hardly be able to see it...(once it ran out of gas!)

Then I saw an ad for an "Adventure Barbie" CD game. Barbie is doing the Indiana Jones thing.....and the girl in the ad was able to do the "rope-climb" in her P.E. class because of playing it.

Oh yeah.......PC games really exercise the old cardiovascular system!

Now don't get me wrong...I have a dozen or so Barbie (and Ken) dolls around my house...they are FUN toys for my tribe....but not exercise. Then my wife received not one but TWO phone calls....within 30 minutes.... from a mail-order company she cancelled her membership with. "Why did you cancel?" the operator asked....uh...well..."Because I didn't want to buy anything else?" my wife said.

I guess that wasn't a good enough answer because they had to call back and ask the SAME questions again! Could have been an honest mistake.....but I think not.

Comments?

We got a phone call the other day and the ID box said the phone number and where the name goes it said "Free Pagers". !!!

Like I'm going to answer that one! If the ID box says Name Unknown, Number Unknown, I don't answer. They can leave a message...IF they let it ring long enough. Most sales calls only ring like 3 times. We set the message thing to pick up after 6 rings.

On an add for something we saw "optional headset required". Say what?

As for the chainsaw....put camouflage on anything and a man will buy it. Makes it more manly. VRooom, vroom. As "they" say, the difference between the men and boys is the price of their toys.

Now, what I really love is the new CAMO duck tape! That stuff is neat! I use the dark brown duck tape to seal all my doors and windows in the winter, it looks like trim from a distance!

Oh puhleez! Just checked in on this one after a few days and I come back to find out that I have started a new decorating trend! Jim-mi get down off of that table in your cammis and stop painting the lights! Jason, drop that kahki spray paint this instant! If you are going to do it, do it right! They have to have at least 10 sq. inches of blaze orange to be legal in that kitchen!!!!!!! Green and orange kitchen. YECH! Where is Martha Stewart when you need her! heeheeheehee! Betcha she'd have a coronary over this one! :~D![She says gleefully!!!] Martha Stewart watch out! Jim-mi and Jason have arrived!
