I'm not opening any unfamiliar emails!greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread |
Just now, I received a email from "leslie" (?) with no messege. It was just an attachment. To be safe, I deleted it. For the time being, I'm not opening any unfamiliar emails. If I delete a message from one of you, forgive me.

I got one from "Lesley" too. My Norton Anti-Virus caught it and wouldn't open it. Sure am glad (I mean really glad) I didn't lose my computer. Love going to my forums every day.

Yep, I got one from Leslie and deleted it. Methinks mischief is afoot.

. . . and I received one from mitch at 2:48 this afternoon; tried to verify from source, couldn't and deleted prior to opening it. Sorry if it was vital, mitch, but I won't open an e-mail until I KNOW it is safe. Sorry if this caused any problems; certainly meant no offense or harm. Sounds like the game is afoot . . .

I also got one from "mitch" and did the same thing. It was ironic that I got it almost immediately after I posted here saying I don't open attachments unless I know the sender AND verify they originated and sent it.

This too shall pass!

Just when I thought all the excitement had passed me by, I too received an e-mail from Lesley with the subject line of "virus".

I received one today supposedly from Lesley and then one supposedly from Hoot. Thought it was strange when I first saw them. I didn't open the attachments, I hope I'm safe. Is someone behind this?
