ATTENTION bbeth6310@aol.com -- WHO are you?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Beyond the Sidewalks : One Thread |
This email address, bbeth6310@aol.com, has shown up for getting an alert of each posting made. I do not recognize this address. No one who was given the password has indicated that this is a legitimate email address, and previous attempts [two other times in the past] to contact the person at that address have produced no response! Therefore, I AM SERVING NOTICE TO bbeth6310@aol.com. Please identify yourself as a legitimate member of this board immediately, or your alert will be deleted again. And this time I will contact AOL.
If you are a legitimate member of this board, I truly apologize for the draconian tone of this post. However, all the troll activity on Lusenet lately has made me more cautious. Thanks for your cooperation -- you can contact me privately if you prefer.

Hmmmm, I can't remember giving this person the password to our forum. The email addy sounds familiar but a Google search on it brings up a name I'm not familiar with:http://www.google.com/search? q=cache:NoQLlUMK3yI:wwp.icq.com/96998402+bbeth6310%40aol.com&hl=en
BTW, I'm glad you noticed this and brought it to everyones attention, Joy.

I also used Google's Advanced Search method to search the Greenspun server for her e-mail address and came up with nothing. So, from what I can determine, she's never posted anything on any of the Greenspun forums using that e-mail address.I guess our lady likes to lurk...

The member profile at AOL for that address is Beth Newman-Carter. She lives in Texas and owns a kennel. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Doesn't ring any bells with me, but I'm not much on checkin' out other forums anyways!

Just to let you all know, I have heard from this person. She seems to be genuine, but still, not anyone that Jim or I recognize as a member. Jim and I are trying to figure out how this happens.
