St. Catherine Labouré [Zoë] (French, peasant, member of Sisters of Charity, visionary of the "Miraculous Medal," d. 1876 [canonized 1947])
St. Fionnchu of Bangor (Irish, abbot, 6th century)
St. Hippolytus of Saint-Claude (French, Benedictine abbot, bishop, c. 775)
St. James of the Marches [Domenico Gangala] (Italian, Doctor of Law, Franciscan priest, wandering missionary, preached daily for 40 years, d. 1475)
Bl. James Thompson (English, priest, martyred by hanging in 1582)
St. Joseph Pignatelli (Spanish, Jesuit priest, teacher, d. 1811 [canonized 1954])
Sts. Papinianus and Mansuetus (African, bishops, martyred in 5th century)
Sts. Quieta and Hilary (French, senator and wife, martyred in 5th century)
Sts. Rufus and companions (Roman, household, martyred in 304)
St. Sosthenes (Greek, leader of Jews at synagogue of Corinth [Acts 18:17], bishop in Asia Minor [Turkey], 1st century)
Sts. Stephen the Younger, Basil, Peter, Andrew, and over 300 companions (Constantinopolitan [Turkish], abbot and monks, martyred c. 765)
Sts. Valerian, Urban, Crescens, Eustace, Cresconius, Crescentian, Felix, Hortulanus, and Florentian (African, bishops, defenders of the faith, banished by Arian king, 5th century)

If you have anything to share about these holy people, please reply now -- biographical episodes, prayers through their intercession, the fact that one is your patron saint -- whatever moves you. If you are interested in one of these saints and want to find out more about him/her, please ask. Information is sometimes available on the Internet.

All you holy men and women, saints of God, pray for us.
God bless you.
John
