YES!! In the sense of Shelley, Coleridge, Byron, Goethe etc. what one might term a dark romantic, a school of literature concerned with passion, scientiific progress, the unknown, the bizarre, etc.NOT necessarily in the amorous sense though obviously Poe gives that a sort of preeminence- in his own fashio.(To Helen, Annabel Lee, etc.)
